Tractebel Engineering was one of 70 Belgian companies that took part in the Belgian trade mission to the Arab Republic of Egypt from 24 to 28 May 2008, led by HRH Prince Philippe, honorary chairman of the Foreign Trade Agency.
The main themes of the mission were the energy and diamond industries, logistics, the environment, construction, IT, luxury goods, capital equipment, dredging, port activities and banking services.
Tractebel Engineering took an active part in the marketing approach developed by the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium to promote the Eco-business, as part of an innovating branding for Belgian players.
Tractebel Engineering was able to strengthen the links with various ministers, including the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif and the oil minister, as well as various Egyptian businessmen, thus reinforcing its position in Egypt and neighbouring countries.
