As of December 2008, Tractebel Engineering has ADEME certification for carrying out “Bilan Carbone®.”
A Bilan Carbone® is a recognised method of accounting for greenhouse gas emissions, more than 1000 already having been carried out in France.
ADEME has introduced a system of subsidies for carrying out diagnoses of greenhouse gas emissions by the Bilan Carbone® method. These subsidies may be granted to French companies, associations or municipalities that call upon external service providers such as Tractebel Engineering that have received ADEME training.
