COMBINED CYCLE GENERATION AND WATER PRODUCTION - AL DUR IWPP
Tractebel Engineering will be the Owner's Engineer to GDF SUEZ Energy International for the construction of a 1350 MW combined cycle power station associated with a desalination installation which will use the reverse osmosis process and have a water production capacity of 9000 m³/h. These installations are for Al Dur Independent Water and Power Project in Bahrain.
Tractebel Engineering won this contract following an international competitive tendering process. Activities relating to the revision of the project have already begun and a team of five staff members from Tractebel Engineering is on-site ready to get down to the job of supervising the works.
