I joined Tractebel Engineering in September 2006. In the one year since then I have already taken part in two large projects. The first involved direct participation in a large project for new coal-fired power stations. I worked with someone who had a great deal of experience in steam turbines, condensers, water preheaters, pumps and so on. For the second project I carried out process calculations with the Thermoflow software package, for repowering a conventional gas-fired power station by converting it into a CCGT unit.
I have learned a great deal in a very short time, and can already take on my own responsibilities and play a full part in the projects.
